A mid 19th century Thüringen drunken gentleman being recruited by a Zouave veteran nodders, papier-mâché figures, the gentleman in top hat skipping along slightly disheveled with jacket over arm and shirt and trousers undone and a veteran Zouave with splendid moustache and beard tapping him on his shoulder, both with weighted nodding heads and on shaped wooden base —8in. (20.5cm.) high (some crazing, which has been stabilised)
