A large 19th century English painted wooden red brick dolls’ house, of two storeys and three bays, a central oak opening front door with transom window, eight windows with painted lintels, grey painted roof with two chimneys, white paint chimney pots and ridge cresting, front opening with key, the middle door section hinged, to reveal seven rooms, hall, landing and broom cupboard, original papers and paint finishes, opening internal doors, the kitchen with German painted tinplate range, a dresser and plate rack, a few carpets —46 1/2in. (118cm.) long x 46 1/4in. (117.5cm.) high x 20in. (50.5cm.) deep including protruding back feet and front step (missing one chimney, doors do not meet in middle to engage lock, three points missing from roof ridge, back of roof rough, some internal doors off and some wear) - purchased from Christie’s South Kensington in the 1990s from the estate of Miss MacLoughlan of Easby Road, Ilkley, the following lots 563 to 725 are the accumulated contents from this house, shown set up in the last photograph
