A late 19th century Thüringen Bismarck grabbing the ears of Napoleon III, composition figure of the first German chancellor with wired arms and holding via wires the ears of defeated dwarfed French Emperor, both in military uniform —4 ¾in. (12cm.) high - Otto von Bismarck, the Prussian Chancellor, defeated Napoleon III of France in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-71). Bismarck engineered the war and orchestrated Napoleon's capture — see Early Toys 2, Leipold/Bickert/Kreher, 2024 - page 178, figs 1, 2 and 3 for this actual toy
