A George III period striking bracket clock by Eardley Norton, total height 55.5cm, the mahogany case with applied gilt metal embellishments, with folding handles and glazed panels all around, the gilt and silvered dial marked Yeldrea Norton London and numbered 1491 and having date aperture, the fusee movement now with nylon and having pendulum, nice engraved to back plate and numbered 1491, appears to run as chimes correctly on the hour when repeater chord is pulled, case worn and front and rear doors warped, gilt mounts may be later and no key present
