A Self Cocking Five Shot Revolver by Deane & Son, circa 1850s, marked to the top 'Deane & Son 30 King William St.t London Bridge, London Proof Marks, 4 1/4'' barrel, smooth bore, stamped to the side 'PATENT L15594, No.31257R', cylinder also marked with the serial number '31257R', cross hatched design to the grip, Sold as an exempt item under Section 58 (2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, to be held as a curiosity or ornament
