A mid 19th century Erzgebirge cavalry crank toy, three men in blue uniforms with tall shako style hats, one drinking from a cup, one brown horses and a spare horse, in enclosure with fence, on paper covered wooden box, when handle is cranked two horses rear and music plinks —8 ¼in. (21cm.) long (sides missing some paper, fence missing one end, new crank handle and two horses reglued to base and could be neatened up) - see Early Toys 2, Leipold/Bickert/Kreher, 2024 - page 84 and 85, fig 5 for this actual model
