A mid 19th century Thüringen composition jockey riding grey horse pull along toy, the rider with mutton chop whiskers, black cap, red with purple sleeve silks, dappled grey horse at full gallop, string tail, mounted on spring with wooden painted base with four wooden wheels —8 ¼in. (21cm.) long (neat repair to riders knees, slight cracking and loss to horse’s flanks) - see Early Toys 2, Leipold/Bickert/Kreher, 2024 - page 25, fig 1 for this actual model
