A George II and later silver covered tankard by Richard Gurney & Co, 20cm high and 30.29 ozt, with embossed decoration of animals and farmer and embossed decoration to lid, marked London 1740, with ivory spacers to handle, hinge damaged and repaired, with later applied spout and now bearing modern hallmarks. Sold with Ivory Declaration 8CVAV46X and letter from the London Assay Office case number 9668
