A rare Einco Tubby-type mohair dog, circa 1915, with golden mohair, large oily clear and black glass eyes with red painted backs, black stitched nose and W shaped mouth, pink nostril stitch, red felt tongue, black diamond mohair patch behind right eye, crossed facial seam, floppy ears, swivel head and seated with tail —10 ¼in. (26cm.) high (slight bald spots and general wear, replaced collar) - Knight & Kennedy were illustrators of the Tubby range of postcards, a similar dog with darker brown floppy ears and no eye patch, this dog is obviously the same model as Tubby, but probably a different character in the range along with Fifi
